OUR STORY
We are a family business owned and operated by multiple siblings.
Truth be told,
there are ten of us and most of us are involved on some level. On any given day you will see the brothers, sisters and sister-in-laws helping out. Our children are often running around the store trying to figure out which bag of candy they can sneak off with.
We have been in the Boulder area for 25 years, but we have had the great pleasure of owning Bovas for 16 years. While we cannot take credit for the name (we do love it!), what we really love is what the store has represented to so many people, even previous to us taking over. Boulder has an amazing community and we have been honored to be a part of it for so long.
In October of 2021 we were forced to make the very difficult decision to close our doors, as so many businesses had to, because the building we were in had been purchased and was being demolished. Closing our doors, albeit temporarily, was very hard and we did not expect that it would take us close to a year to re-open.
We opened our doors, again, in August of 2022; and we were reminded that just as we had not forgotten all of you, you had not forgotten us. We hope to be your first stop when you need some damn good food, or you just used your last roll of TP and you need to get some fast! 🙂
